The Story of “The Herbivorous Candle”

Our adventure began long before we took over this brand in September 2024. The candle has always been more than just an everyday object for us. It is a source of comfort, a soothing light, and a way to transform our spaces into real cocoons of well-being. It is this passion for warm atmospheres and captivating scents that guided us on this wonderful family adventure.

The brand that we had the opportunity to relaunch was created in 2017, thanks to Delphine Reposeur, a enthusiast of perfumery and natural products. His vision was simple and full of meaning: to create natural candles, respectful of the environment, while paying homage to the artisanal traditions of perfumery in Grasse, world capital of fragrances. Each candle she created was hand-poured, with 100% plant-based ingredients, and subtly scented to evoke memories, moments of sweetness, or simply to offer a moment of serenity.

When we discovered this brand and its history, we were immediately seduced by its values ​​and its authenticity. The opportunity to bring it back to life presented itself in 2024, and it was together, as a family, that we decided to take on the challenge. For us, this project is much more than a business. It embodies our common passion for artisanal products, our respect for the environment and our love of beautiful things.

Today, we are proud to perpetuate Delphine’s legacy, while adding our personal touch. Each Herbivore candle that we create is the result of meticulous know-how, hand-poured in our family workshop with rigorously selected ingredients. We use exclusively 100% vegetable waxes and cotton wicks, guaranteeing clean combustion that respects your environment. Our perfumes, for their part, come from the master perfumers of Grasse, whose expertise is recognized throughout the world.

Relaunching this brand was also an opportunity for us to reconnect with the very essence of craftsmanship: time, precision, and above all the love of a job well done. In a world where everything is moving ever faster, we have chosen to take the time to do things well. Our candles are not just objects; they tell a story, your story. They are designed to awaken your senses, transport you to moments of escape, and bring a touch of warmth to your daily life.
